chicken drumsticks curry




Ingredients:
for marination:

Chicken legs                        :   6
Curd/ plain Yoghurt             :   1cup
Tandoori  masala(or)chicken masala :1tspn;
chili powder                        :    2 tspn;
coriander powder                 :   1tspn;
Lemon juice                         :  4tspn;
ginger garlic paste               : 1tspn;
onions, cilantro for garnishing

Salt to taste
For Curry:
Ingredients:
Onions chopped half cup
Chopped Ginger and garlic-1ts each
tomatos chopped-1cup
Ginger garlic paste               :  1tspn;





Method:
  • clean and wash the chicken drumsticks and make  3-4 deep cuts on each side of the drumstick so that they get perfectly marinated.
  • Now prepare the marination mixture with the above mentioned marination ingredients(curd+chilli pdr+daniya pdr+turmeric pdr+ginger garlic paste+lemon juice+1 greenchilli piecesand onions(optional)).

mix it well and drop the chicken pieces in the marination and allow them to marinate for 2-3 hrs in a refrigerator.dont keep it in freezer

               

                 Remove them from the refrigerator, and let them come down to room temperature

               Now take a skillet and heat4 -6 tspn of  oil and add the marinated chicken pieces to the oil and cook them by closing the lid.





Cook by turning the pieces like this for about 10-15 min, until the chicken is half cooked
Now add onions and green chillies cook them until they turn transparent, 

After the onions and are done add tomatos and cook until they become mushy.


                     Add chicken masala + ginger & garlic +garam masala(if u like add cocount pdr also )and also                  remaining marinated gravy and mix well, add water if required check for the taste add chili powder and salt if required




                               Cook for few more minutes under simmer by closing the lid.

                   Now finally garnish with cilantro and the curry is ready to serve

    serve with rice or chapathi .

Alasandal guggillu and charu

alasandalu                   :            2cups.
Temparing:

oil               :             2 tspn.
zeera           :            1 tspn.
chanadal      :             2 tspn;
curryleaves
onions          :        1 medium
chillipoedr    :        1 tspn
cut green chillies       :  1 tspn
salt as per taste

preparation;

clean alasandalu.and add 4 cups of water.
soak alasandalu(blakeyed beans) for 1-2 hrs.
pressure cook with 4 whistles or until they are cooked well
Drain off the cooked beans


Note:  Dont through the leftover water. preserve it .
i will tell you preparing of rasam using cooked water.

In a saute pan heat oil.add zeeraand chana dal.once the start to splitter and chopped green chillies .fry it 1 min add chopped onions add salt .fry for this one more minute
add red chilli pdr (this is optional)
Once the onions are cooked to translucent add the cooked beans and mix together
if u like it add lemion juice  along with cilantro after switch off the flame



this is black eyed beans rasam
(using leftover water +mashed beans +tomato+onions)
Rasam
take a bowl 
add 2 tspns of oil 
add zeera.chana and urad dal
let it splitter
add chopped onions (1 cup)
fry it well 
add curry leaves and ginger garlic paste(1tspn)
mix it well
add chopped tomatos (1 cup) along with mashed beans(1 hand full beans or 1 cup)
mix it well 
once tomotos cooked well and  raw smell goes off
add chilli pdr and salt and daniya pdr(as per your taste)
make them as a paste

 add leftover water

boil it for 5-10 min
check the salt.
lastly add cilantro add serve with rice 
it is too good
your childrens also like it  iam sure about it

palak pakodi (or) palakura pakodi


This is one of my  favorite snack item.............

         try this you also like it.............i am sure about that..........

Ingredients:

palak(or)palakura    (chopped)        :      1 big bowl
 onions                                            :       3 big
zeera                                               :       2 tspn
chilli powder                                     :      2 tspn;
salt                            as per taste
voma                                                 :1 tspn(optional)
curry leaves
rice flour                                             :  1/4 cup
besan                                                   :1 cup





method:
chop the onins and palak and chillies
take a big bowl add chopped onions.palak chillies chillipdr,salt,zeera,voma,
mix it well with hand
crush with hand and  keep a side for 3to 5 mins
add flours
mix it well



if it is very thick add little bit water,
mix to gether
heat the oil for deep frying
take handfull of dough sprinkle in hot oil


leave it 1 min.
then turn it
fry it well
remove from oil.
place it bowl
serve with chai


haaaaaaaa
its tooo good
with in 15 mins u prepare this yummy snack







with out palak also you can prepare this

Ravva vundrallu


Ingredients : 

Rice Rava / Cracked Rice : 1/2 cup 
Water : 1.5 cups 
green gram dal or pesarapappu : 1 tbsp 
Cumin Seeds : 1/2 tsp 
Ghee : 1 tsp 
Salt to taste



Method : 

Soak the  dal for 10 minutes and set aside. 
Heat a teaspoon of ghee , fry sooji ravva.
heat a teaspoon of ghee inheavy bottom vessel add the cumin seeds and let them splutter. 
Now add the soaked green gram dal and fry for a minute. 
Then add water and bring to a boil. 
Add the salt and sooji rava to it and mix very well. 
Reduce the flame, cover with a lid and let it cook completely. 
Switch off the flame and allow it cool. 
Once cool, divide the rice rava mixture into a round balls. 
Steam cook the balls on medium flame for about 10 minutes. 
Switch off the flame and allow it cool.
our delicious vuppu undrallu or ravva vundrallu ready .

this is first nivedhyam of vinayakachavithi.
