carrot curry with milk

Ingrediants:

carrots            :   4
green chilies     :  2
chana dal         :   hand-full
chili powder,salt as per taste
milk                 :     1/2 cup
coriander pdr   :    1 tspn,
garlic                :   4 pods
onion                :    1
zeera                :    1  tspn,

preparation:
cut the onion,green chilies,onions and carrot into one inch length wise.soak chana dal atleat 10 mins.
now take a kadai heat 3 tspn oil.add  zeera,after 30 sec add chili pieces.
fry it 1 min and add onion and chana dal fry for another 2 mins.add turmeric pdr and crushed garlic.
close the lid
after 2 mins add carrot pieces and add little bit of salt ,mix it well and close the lid
after 5 mins add chili pdr and salt ,mix it very well.cook another 3 mins .
add milk and place the lid .
after 3-5 mins open the lid and mix it well
add daniya pdr. if you like it add dry coconut pdr.
mix it well switch off the flame .


serve with hot rice or chapathi.
